Kimberly A. Thompson

Attorney Thompson founded Thompson Law, LLC in 2009. The firm’s primary focus is on family law matters including Divorce, Mediation, Collaborative Divorce, Child Support, Guardian Ad Litem work, Alimony, Paternity and other related issues.  The firm also handles wills and estate planning.

Receiving her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, Attorney Thompson concentrated in Family Law and was involved in the school law clinic.  Upon graduation Attorney Thompson was awarded an Excellence in Clinical Work Award.  She received her undergraduate degree from Westfield State University in Massachusetts where she graduated with a BA in Mass Communications and a minor in Sociology.   

Attorney Thompson has a diverse background in law, business and communications.  She is able to utilize her broad range of experiences to her client’s advantage.  Prior to being an attorney, Kimberly worked in television production in NYC starting her career at NBC as an NBC Page.

Attorney Thompson is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law Division, American Bar Association (ABA), Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), and the Collaborative Divorce Professionals Group.  She also served on the board of New Seasons, Inc. and the Collaborative Divorce Professionals Group as well as being a Special Master for the Hartford Judicial Court.
